Since its establishment, Ronsard has dedicated extensive research to understanding how young children best learn foreign languages. Over the years, we have developed and refined our own unique methods, consistently delivering results that set us apart.
Our Approach: The Three Pillars of Language Learning
Immersion — Children are surrounded by the sounds, intonations, and rhythms of both English and French, allowing them to absorb language naturally and quickly.
Play — Learning through games keeps children motivated, engaged, and encourages a joyful, natural progression in language skills.
Success — By fostering small wins, children build confidence and enthusiasm, propelling them towards fluency.
Language Balance Across Levels
Crèche/Nursery: 50% English and 50% French instruction for early balanced exposure.
Primary: 60% English and 40% French to deepen bilingual proficiency.
Secondary: Either 70% French / 30% English or vice versa depending on the academic stream.
Dual Teaching Model
Each class benefits from two dedicated teachers — one for English lessons and one for French. This dynamic duo works in close collaboration, blending different teaching styles to ensure a seamless, coherent learning journey for every pupil.
By the end of primary school, every student attains a strong command of both languages, confidently able to work and communicate in English and French alike.
